New home for Angaston Bowling Club

Published on 18 October 2023

After more than 20 years of planning, fundraising and finally building, the Angaston Bowling Club’s brand new home ground facilities have been officially opened!

Many hours of hard work went into this project, which was bolstered by grant money from the former Liberal Government.

After the celebration of its 100th birthday in April last year - all of which were at the old facility on Tyne Street - the club is excited to embark on its next 100 years at the much improved $2.7 million facility, which was made possible through a number of grants including $600,000 from the State Government.

Hats off to President Ian Cockroft and all those involved in seeing this project go from dream to delivery!

It was a pleasure to roll the kitty down after formalities.
