Serving our state as Shadow Health Minister

Shadow Health Minister Ashton Hurn and Leader of the Opposition David Speirs.

The past two years have highlighted just how critical health policy is for our state and our country.

Following the March election, I was honoured when the Leader of the Opposition David Speirs appointed me to serve as South Australia's Shadow Health Minister.

It’s an opportunity I've grabbed with both hands.

Locally, health is one of our main areas of focus, and that is repeated right across our state.

There are enormous promises this government must deliver in health.

Labor made some massive commitments to the people of South Australia and we will be holding them to account on each and every one.

I play a big accountability role in that space, whilst also working to develop policies to improve the health system across the state.

There’s a lot of hard work ahead and our team is up to the task.

The Liberal team is here to listen and deliver an exciting vision for the future of our great state.
